Sheila Hylton, daughter of Jamaican parents, was born in London but grew up in Kingston. His grandfather was a fan of jazz music and was asked to convey the love and leverage the music sounds like those of Louis Armstrong, Bessie Smith, Billie Holiday and Sarah Vaughn.

Although Sheila was interested not only in music but also for modeling and acting.
As for music, his first single was recorded and produced in the legendary Harry J studies and was a cover of Ebony, called "Life in the Country" .
